Update from Administrator – February 23, 2021
Our team and I hope this email finds you safe and healthy. I am pleased to report that we have completed another round of testing for both our staff and residents with no new cases! As we remain free of any new cases and the vaccination process continues, we will hopefully be able to reduce restrictions under the guidance of the CDC and Department of Public Health.
As always, we thank our team for the hard work they do while in our center; their chosen careers were never simple or easy to begin with but working through a pandemic and under such troubled times as they do today, only makes their jobs even tougher.
We would like to extend a big welcome to Lynn Tracey who joined our team a few weeks ago as our Director of Recreation. She brings a lot of energy and new ideas to the facility and we look forward to enhancing the environment for everyone together. Many of you may have spoken with her already but she will be the point person for the scheduling of visits going forward.
During our previous indoor lockdown, we lost our fabulous hairdresser, so we are working on securing a new one to assist with helping our residents look and feel their best. If you or someone you know is qualified and interested in providing these services, please let me know. Once more information is available regarding this, I will provide an update.
As a reminder, our next “Town Hall” meeting is scheduled for Thursday, February 25th at 1pm. We encourage any residents and family members to contact us with questions or concerns you may have about the care we are offering. Our commitment is to be as transparent as possible and work to address any issues that arise.
