Update from Administrator – October 13, 2021

Good Afternoon Friends and Families,

I am reaching out to let you know that on Tuesday (10/12/21) one of our vaccinated outside support staff has tested positive for COVID19. This individual was minimally in contact with 6 patients and was wearing a mask along with other protective gear. Following the State’s protocols, we have tested these individuals and I gladly inform you that all have tested negative. We will continue to test these 6 individuals every four days along with maintaining all necessary precautions to mitigate any potential spread of COVID to another patient, staff or families. We believe there is a very low risk that COVID will emerge from this contact. I am happy to tell you that the facility is still open as usual for visitation and there will be little to no disruption in the services we are providing. As I indicat4ed we care monitoring all residents and staff who might have come in contact with this individual and will update if there are any changes.
